Hanpu(OAK) Shear Wrench For Tension Control Bolts

The shear wrench is the tool for installing tension control (TC) bolts. These bolts are widely used in critical structures such as steel building frames, cell towers and bridges. Shear wrenches tighten TC bolts to the correct tension, then shear off the bolt ends at that point.

Hanpu(OAK) shear wrench is specifically designed to be used with TC bolts. It has an outer socket that turns the nut counterclockwise, while grabbing the spline of the bolt with the inner socket turning it clockwise. When the proper thension level ha been achieved the spline snaps off giving you a visual indication of proper installation.
