Notes on torque wrench

1.The torque wrench must be kept and operated by a special person,and calibrated every year to ensure its accuracy.
2.Before operating the wrench to set the torque,be sure to pull the lock ring to make it in the unlocked position.Do not turn the handle when the lock ring is locked.
3.Choose the torque wrench in the range of use,and set the torque and tightening strictly according to the requirements.
4.When the torque wrench used or not used for a long time needs to be used again,be sure to operate it with high torque 5-10 times,so that the precision parts can be fully lubricated by the special internal lubricant.
5.Make sure to hold the handle firmly.Grasp the handle,not the wrench lever,and then pull the wrench smoothly.It is strictly forbidden to apply impact force.Otherwise,in addition to damage to the wrench,the set torque value will be exceeded and the nut or workpiece will be damaged.
6.When adding force,the square head,sleeve and fastener must be kept on the same plane to ensure the accuracy of the reading after the wrench sounds.When using a torque wrench,never tilt the wrench handle.Tilting the wrench handle can easily cause torque deviation or even damage the fasteners.
7.Continue to apply force when the preset torque is reached.When the "click" sound is heard,stop applying force immediately to ensure accuracy and extend service life.At lower torque values,special attention should be paid to the click sound.
8.Add a sleeve to the end of the torque wrench.Do not use a torque wrench to remove tightened bolts or nuts.
9.The wrench should avoid contact with water or dust,and do not put the torque wrench in the liquid to avoid damaging other components.The torque wrench needs to be set at a low torque value when it is not used for a long time.
