Product Introduction

OAK Tension Control Bolt TC Shear Wrench is specifically designed to be used with Tension Control (TC) Bolts. It has an outer socket that turns the nut counterclockwise, while grabbing the spline of the bolt with the inner socket turning it clockwise. When the proper tension level has been achieved the spline snaps off giving you a visual indication of proper installation.

Working Principle :

Step 1 : Shows the normal shape of the TC (Torque Control) Bolt which has spline part extended at the end.

Step 2 : Shows Shear wrench special socket is applied at the nut of TC Bolt. The internal socket grips the spline part, while external socket grips and rotates the nut to tighten the Bolt.

Step 3 : After the torque tightening is achieved the extended spline part of the bolt is sheared off from the bolt and the joints is successfully tightened to the required torque.
