How to use torque wrench

A torque wrench is what we call a torque wrench, where torque refers to the product of force and distance. The torque wrench is to ensure that the thread is tightened and the thread is not damaged due to excessive torque, and the applied torque is better controlled when tightening screw bolts, nuts, and other threaded fasteners.

The usage and usage of torque wrenches are relatively common in life. When using a torque wrench,we should first set an upper limit of the required torque value. When the applied torque reaches the set value, the wrench will emit a "catta" sound or the joint of the wrench is bent at an angle, which means that it has been tightened.Do n’t force it anymore.

The usage of torque wrench is as follows:

(1)The opening size of the selected wrench must be consistent with the size of the bolt or nut.If the opening of the wrench is too large,it may slip off and damage the hexagon of the screw. In the maintenance of imported cars, attention should be paid to the choice of wrenches. For the selection principle, socket wrenches are generally preferred, followed by torx wrenches, open end wrenches, and adjustable wrenches.

(2)In order to prevent the wrench from being damaged and slipping, the pulling force should be applied to the thicker side of the opening. This should be paid special attention to the adjustable wrench with a large force to prevent the opening from appearing in an "eight" shape and damaging the nut and wrench.

(3)Torque wrenches are designed according to the strength of human hands. When encountering tight thread parts, you cannot use a hammer to hit the wrench; except for socket wrenches, other wrenches cannot be equipped with afterburning rods to prevent damage to the wrench or Threaded connection.

(4)When using a torque wrench,it is appropriate to hear a "pop" sound.
