The first bored pile of the Huangmaohai project was completed.

At 2 o'clock in the morning on April 5, after 8 hours of hard work, the first bored pile concrete of the T4 contract section of the Huangmaohai Sea Crossing Channel contracted by China Railway Bridge Bureau was successfully poured.

The Huangmao Sea Cross-sea Channel is the first large-scale sea-crossing bridge to start construction after the release of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a concrete action taken by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government to implement important instructions such as "Promoting the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" by General Secretary Jin Ping. It is an important part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge's west extension channel. The project has a total length of 31 kilometers, of which the cross-sea section is about 14 kilometers. It adopts two-way six-lane design standards and has 2 super large cable-stayed bridges.

The construction of the Yellow-Mao Sea Passage is a powerful measure to promote the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to accelerate the construction of a new pattern of regional development of "one core, one belt and one area". It will improve the planning of the expressway network in Guangdong Province and give full play to the functions and advances of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The interconnection of infrastructure in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will play an important supporting role. After the completion of the Yellow-Mao Sea Channel, it will change the current situation of the single channel between the western coast of Guangdong and the core area of the Bay Area, realize the economic development of the Greater Bay Area radiate to the western Guangdong and coastal areas, create a new growth pole, and effectively promote advanced equipment on the west bank of the Pearl River. The agglomeration of manufacturing industries will play a positive role in strengthening the joint development of Zhuhai Hengqin Free Trade Zone, Gaolan Port and Jiangmen Daguang Bay Economic Zone.
